About Cu

Hi!  My name is Cu (Coo) Cukale (Sue-Kay-Lee).  I am a musical theatre, straight play and Shakespearean actor originally from Rock Springs, Wyoming.  I am dedicated to the ancient and essential art of storytelling through theatre.  Theatre allows stories from every culture, perspective, and walk of life to be told and I believe it's an actors job to know their stories and their characters like the back of their hands.  Actors should be excellent researchers and I have always seen myself as a student of the world, excited to tell stories and give platforms to those that might otherwise not get them.  

Currently:

Cu is currently in the rehearsal process for Twelfth Night with Ballinger Shakespeare Company located in Edmonds, WA.  This is the company's second year in operation and Cu's second production with them.  They have a mission of bringing Shakespeare in the Park to the northern Seattle Area and after a successful first summer they are back with a second weekend of shows!
